Events: EIC e-pitching event showcasing SMEs from the chemical industry
An e-pitching session, organised by the European Innovation Council (EIC) pilot's Accelerator, which allows SME’s to virtually pitch their business ideas to key investors, will be taking place from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm CTE 18 September this year.
All members of the EIC Community will also be able to listen in remotely, giving those not participating in the session a great opportunity to see the potential of future versions of the online event. To do so, connect here: //zoom.us/j/722328814
Investors listening in can observe the expanding portfolio of companies registered on the EIC ScaleUp EU tool; giving them real insight into the benefits of joining the platform.
The start-ups virtually attending have been selected by the investors within the EIC ScaleUp EU tool on the EIC platform and although this session is now closed, we will be planning similar events throughout the year.
Adbiocomposites from Spain is hoping to effect real change, using innovative technologies and business development of biodegradable polymer specialities and novelty bioadditives.
Also attending will be the Slovakian company Pewas, an innovative and ecological chemicals company focused on the use of special absorbing polymers for clients in several sectors of industry, agriculture and transportation.
Portugal-based Silicolife is another exciting company hoping to stand out during the pitching session. Working with optimised microorganisms and novel pathways for industrial biotechnology applications, SilicoLife will be hoping to gain support from our expert investors.
Ray Technique, a nanodiamond fabrication company based in Israel, is another SME hoping to bring a more sustainable alternative to the industry.
Continuing the environmentally conscious ambitions of the other SMEs, Swiss based Gr3n Recycling, has invented a new process which allows, for the first time, the recycling of PET bottles/food containers chemically, in a profitable way.
The final company in attendance will be RadiSurf, a nanoprimer adhesives company that is hoping to revolutionise “glue-free bonding of challenging material combinations”, while simultaneously reducing the chemical and environmental impact usually associated with industrial adhesives.
We are planning to host regular e-Pitches based on our company profiles in ScaleUp EU in the coming year.
