News - Best cybersecurity practices for SMEs: ENISA wants to hear from you!
In 2020, with the COVID-19 pandemic, organisations shifted to remote working arrangements that have made cybersecurity risks a bigger threat. Many start-ups are facing new challenges to ensure social distancing directives while continuing to serve their customers. To help SMEs answer to the evolving cyber problems, the European Union Agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA) is developing a booklet with best practices. Wondering how secure your organisation is? Don’t miss this opportunity and work together with ENISA to respond to your challenges.
The COVID-19 pandemic has created a new reality for the global economy testing its limits. With this crisis, different sectors have become a direct target or collateral victims of cybersecurity threats, receiving a series of phishing campaigns and ransomware attacks from malicious actors. In this context, the EU Agency for Cybersecurity is preparing special support to the European start-ups, taking into account the situational evolution and most common incidents since the beginning of the pandemic.
The study will analyse the ability of European SMEs to manage with cybersecurity issues, and it will provide a booklet with recommendations for improvement. To prepare this new action, the Agency is doing interviews with representatives from different sectors to gather their main challenges and the associated good practices.
Is your organisation sufficiently protected against cyber-attacks? Are you currently facing any challenge in cybersecurity? Will your organisation be able to respond in case of a cyber incident? Take this opportunity to analyse your cyber strengths and weaknesses and share your testimonial with ENISA in a short interview.
In this booklet, the SMEs will have access to cybersecurity guidelines, learn how peers are approaching cybersecurity, and gain valuable information that will help gauge how your organisation stacks up compared with others.
