News: Join the WeNet Platform – Applications are open for tech SMEs!
Are you an SME, start-up, NGO, university/research centre and you would like to be part of a broader community about a new internet platform that gives emphasis on diversity, ethics, protection of data and innovation? WeNet, part of the EIC Pathfinder Programme, just opened a call for applications.
Apply for the WeNet Open Call!
WeNet was launched in January 2019 to empower machine-mediated diversity-aware social interactions. Now, they are looking for additional institutions to increase their platform’s diversity in terms of communities of users, to collect further data to feed the WeNet Research Infrastructure (RI), and to foster the creation of a community of innovators around the WeNet platform.
The Open Call Tracks
The WeNet Open Call is organised around 3 tracks. Each track targets a different set of objectives, has a different budget and different project duration.
Financial Support Provided
This Open Call will provide a total of € 250.000,00 in funding. At least five project proposals will be funded within the scope of the WeNet Open Call.
The WeNet Open Call is aimed at: Startups; Small and medium-sized enterprises; Large enterprises; Universities; Research centers; NGOs; Foundations and other non-profit entities.
Submission to the open call opened on 12 July 2021 (12:00 CEST) and will close on 30 September 2021 (12:00 CEST).

The submission is done through the WeNet dedicated webpage.
WeNet is a project under the funding scheme "Future and Emerging Technologies" (FET). FET-Open and FET Proactive are now part of the European Innovation Council (EIC) - Pathfinder programme.
