Open Call - EIC Corporate Day with Saint-Gobain: ‘Make the world a better home’
The European Innovation Council Business Acceleration Services and Saint-Gobain invite you to apply to our joint EIC Corporate Day on 10 March 2021. This specially designed service is meant to accelerate your business collaborating with the French multinational, one of Europe’s leader in materials.
Saint-Gobain designs, manufactures and distributes materials and solutions which MAKE THE WORLD A BETTER HOME. They can be found everywhere in our living places and our daily life: in buildings, transportation, infrastructure and in many industrial applications. They provide comfort, performance and safety while addressing the challenges of sustainable construction, resource efficiency and climate change. For over 350 years, Saint-Gobain has been at the forefront of innovation, transforming itself into a European and worldwide leader in each of its activities.
Saint-Gobain has also been one the EIC’s early supporters. After having organised a first EIC Corporate Day in 2019 and participated in the EIC Greenathon in October 2020, the French multinational is back for a third EIC event, an EIC Corporate Day fully focused on the future of transport, health and sustainability. EIC-beneficiaries selected to attend the EIC Corporate Day with Saint-Gobain on 10 March 2021, will have access to specific training, pitching, pre-arranged meetings with top decision-makers from Saint-Gobain and the possibility to network with high-level partners and like-minded innovators in a dedicated online event.

Saint-Gobain is looking for EIC-SMEs working on innovative and disruptive approaches for:
The future of transportation, including innovations on
- Battery supply chain;
- Electric vehicles;
- Aviation decarbonation;
- Hydrogen vehicles and economy;
- Materials & solutions for 5G;
- Optimization through sensors integration.
Future of health, including
- Sensors for Medical Devices
- Wearable Health Technology
Improved sustainability of industry through reduced materials footprint and industrial process optimization.
- Recycling and bio-sourcing of materials including :
- Ceramics and Abrasives products;
- Glass and post glass;
- Fluoropolymer composites.
- Sensors and their integration in harsh environment (temperature, chemical corrosion, high pressure…).

- Privileged access to one of the world’s leading companies with the potential to initiate strategic partnerships along with increased visibility and possible access to new markets;
