Stories: Adverty enables in-game advertising in leading mobile eSport game
European Innovation Council pilot's funded company Adverty AB has integrated its award winning advertising platform into eSport game.
The mobile eSport game has been downloaded more than 50 million times and is played actively with long session times. The game will show seamless in-game ads in the shapes of billboards and posters, where Adverty’s platform will enable real-time, live brand advertising.

The aggregated order value is defined by the number of active ad units within the game, and this number will be scaled up according to a rollout plan that is set to begin with selected prereleases early May 2019 and planned to conclude a few weeks later in a full global launch. The agreement is commercial and involves revenue for the company. The games large geographical spread will also widen Adverty’s distribution network significantly.
Adverty empowers mobile, augmented and immersive virtual experiences for brands to connect with consumers at the right time and place.
The company has received a a Phase 1 grant from the EIC pilot SME Instrument in 2018. The project features an innovative digital advertising platform, serving ad traffic within Virtual, Augmented and – soon to come – Mixed Realities (VR, AR, MR = XR).
